Acadia, Mt. Desert Island, Cadillac Mountain, Bar Harbor, Camden, Deer Isle, Rockland, and Owl’s Head, the list of locations reads like a life list for most photographers. There will be no lack of subject matter on this tour. We will visit the above-noted locations and throw in a couple of little out of the way places as well. This workshop will be action packed from Monday through Friday.

Instruction
This workshop is primarily a field workshop, there will be a classroom session at the of the workshop to review images. During this workshop you will learn techniques that will give your images pizzazz and impact. We will explore landscape techniques from mastering the grand landscape, using filters for creative effects, to perfecting the intimacy of close up photography. You will learn how to; deal with extreme lighting conditions, using natural light and much more.
Instructor John Gregor is known for his patience and individual attention during these tour/workshops. Throughout the workshop there are demonstrations on a variety of camera techniques. John is always working the group–checking in to see if you have questions or need help with a composition or filtering question. This individual attention is what keeps ColdSnap Clients coming back time and time again. Camera technique, subject approach, and composition will be the emphasis of this workshop.
