Well I survived another fall. This one was very busy with many commercial projects and several workshops. In addition as most of you probably know both of my daughters got married this
year; one in August and the other in early September. With that much love in the air I was not about to be left out so I got engaged! I am engaged to a wonderful woman by the name of Danielle de Neui. We will be getting married next summer.
Next year’s workshops are shaping up nicely. I will be teaching at Madeline Island School of the Arts again in August–teaching a workshop called “Island Night Skies.” At the end of February I am teaching a three day workshop at Split Rock Lighthouse with an added attraction of four very talented North Shore photographers; Christian Dalhbec, Travis Novitsky, Byran Hansel, and Emily Rose. These four photographers and myself will be presenting the “Lake Superior Photography Symposium”on Saturday March 1 as part of the “Split Rock Lighthouse Workshop”.
I am offering two larger workshops this next summer and fall;“Photograph Newfoundland!” my fifth trip back to this great location, and “The Lake Superior Circle Tour” a 9 day trip around the lake.
