Digital photography offers the photographer incredible creative expression. From the concept through the final presented image the photographer has control over the look and feel of every image they create, provided they understand the tools and applications that are available.
This workshop takes a deep dive into the creative process of image making from concept through final execution. It will teach you the proper processing for social media, digital slide shows, commercial print making, and fine art printing on ink-jet prints.
Set in northern Minnesota during the wintertime is an ideal time and location for this workshop. A combination of field shoots and classroom gives you the complete photographic experience.
This workshop is limited to two participants which allows most of the instruction time to be one on one. The emphasis is on hands-on learning and individual instruction. If you have a particular project or portfolio you want to work on, a style of photography you want to perfect, this is a great opportunity.
Using Adobe products, Lightroom, Bridge, Adobe Camera Raw, and Photoshop, you will learn the differences, advantages, and disadvantages, with the goal of developing a preference that suits your photographic style and goals.
Pre-requisites: laptop computer with a minimum of 16 Gb of RAM and Adobe Photography Plan (Including both Lightroom and Photoshop Apps, $19.99/month). Bring your Raw image files! The more images you have to choose from the greater opportunities you will have to work on and perfect your process.
